I am a biologist. As such I love nature in all its manifestations. Photography is my passion.

I started photographing landscapes and animals, in color with Kodachrome or Velvia many years ago.

Then over time I became passionate about Black and White, in the darkroom and now also in digital.

However, together with other subjects and projects, I still have the desire to photograph animals and nature, even if now in a less naturalistic and more interpretative and emotional perspective.

I don't like too strong or artificial transformations of the negative. I prefer that the transformation is already present in the negative and depends on the point of view, the point of focus, the blur, the use of lights and shadows…..
